How likely is it that birth control will fail? The New York Times rececently published an article showing failure rates for typical use and prefect use of various birth control methods.
The authors found that the risk of failure for any method is compounded over time and that even with perfect use, no form of birth control is one hundred percent effective.
These findings remind us that there is still a risk of unplanned pregnancy, even when using birth control.
