We Thought Abortion Was Our Only Option

FAQ

You have three main options: parenting, adoption, and abortion. Each option has different considerations. At PCC Toronto, we provide information about all three options so you can make an informed decision. Our support staff are here to listen and help you think through all factors in a compassionate environment without pressure. Please note: we are not a medical clinic and cannot provide or arrange for abortions.

The decision is ultimately yours. While others may share their opinions or preferences, you are the one who will live with the outcome of your decision. Taking time to understand your options and consider what aligns with your values, beliefs, circumstances, and goals can help you make an informed choice.

The choices you make during your pregnancy include many factors. However, that doesn’t mean you have to face these decisions alone.

At PCC Toronto, we provide a safe and supportive space where you can talk through your situation, explore your options, and process the opinions of those around you. Our role is not to tell you, but to help you find information and support so that you can make an informed decision that aligns with your values, beliefs, and circumstances.

Yes. Through our peer support program, we can connect you with others who have navigated a similar unexpected pregnancy. Hearing real experiences can provide comfort and perspective. If you’re interested, let us know and we can arrange this.

You’re not alone.

“I didn’t know where to turn. That’s pretty much how I ended up coming to the Pregnancy Care Centre. I needed to speak about my emotions and my feelings, what I would do…I really had absolutely no idea.”
