Building community takes time, but there are many resources: cultural community centres and newcomer settlement agencies; religious communities and places of worship; Ontario Early Years Centres for meeting other parents; prenatal classes and parent groups; and online communities for new parents. At PCC Toronto, we can connect you with people who understand what you’re going through and provide ongoing emotional support. You don’t have to do this alone.
Yes. Being pregnant while studying in a new country can bring unique challenges, but you don’t have to face them alone. PCC Toronto can help you explore your pregnancy options, understand available resources, navigate the healthcare system, and connect with community supports. Our goal is to help you get the information and support you need to make an informed decision about your next steps.
