What to Expect
You Are Not Alone
Each year hundreds of women in Toronto will make a difficult decision about an unplanned pregnancy. They will either choose to have a baby, place their child for adoption, or have an abortion. Some will be well supported by family and friends, but many, feeling alone, and overwhelmed will believe they have no other choice but to terminate their pregnancy even if that is not what they really want to do. Knowing that a pregnancy will soon be obvious to everyone there is a lot of stress in those initial days of the pregnancy. We understand. We know that compassionate care is necessary. The Pregnancy Care Centre exists to provide compassionate community support to women and families facing an unexpected pregnancy so that they can thrive without seeing abortion as their only option.
Safe Place To Talk
The Pregnancy Care Centre provides free and confidential services in a compassionate, no pressure, and non-judgmental environment. Our services include: urine-based pregnancy tests, pregnancy and options information, abortion information, community referrals, medical referrals, material support, and post- abortion support. The Pregnancy Care Centre is not an abortion clinic and does not perform any medical procedures. If you are in the process of decision making and are not yet certain about resources that are available to you we are happy to set up an appointment at a convenient time for you at any of our locations throughout Toronto.
We envision a city where no woman faces an unexpected pregnancy alone; where every mother and father has access to care, support, and community; and where parents and their unborn children are treasured by all. The Pregnancy Care Centre (PCC) was established in 1984 as a Christian non-profit, non-political, charitable organization to provide compassionate community care to women and families facing an unexpected pregnancy so that they can thrive.
