What to expect?

Abigail’s Journey

I was worried I might be pregnant

Abigail googled “pregnant and don’t know what to do.”

“I was under a lot of stress and I wasn’t sure what to do. Then I found the PCC.”

I needed information & help

Pregnancy options are discussed and weighed by Abigail

“The PCC talked to me about all the options. After leaving my first meeting, I definitely felt as if I was a little more directed.

I told the people who mattered

Abigail wanted to think through how others will respond and about whose opinion mattered.

“I wasn’t in a good place in my relationship with the father and the PCC gave me courage and advice to navigate that.

You Are Not Alone

Each year, hundreds of women in Toronto will make a difficult decision about an unplanned pregnancy. They will either choose to have a baby, place their child for adoption, or have an abortion. Some will be well supported by family and friends, but many, feeling alone and overwhelmed, will believe they have no other choice but to terminate their pregnancy even if that is not what they really want to do. Knowing that a pregnancy will soon be obvious to everyone, there is a lot of stress in those initial days of the pregnancy. We understand. We know that compassionate care is necessary. Pregnancy Care Centre Toronto exists to provide compassionate community support to women and families facing an unexpected pregnancy so that they can thrive without seeing abortion as their only option.
